The theme of this issue is Connection and Introspection. The two concepts, and the intersection between them, is something that the pandemic has lead many of us to contemplate: how do we connect when we are far apart? who are we when others' perceptions of us are stripped away? We would like to sincerely thank everybody who submitted, and our readers. The SunLit is our way of connecting with you, and we hope it inspires introspection!

In the midst of the pandemic, despite Covid-19 forcing the closure of Samo, our team persevered, and created the first installment of the SunLit. Thank you to everyone who made this issue possible. We thank all the contributors: this magazine would not exist without your exceptional pieces. Thanks also to our incredible staff, and our faculty advisor, Ms. Faas. We hope you enjoy this issue as much as we do!
